Animal Audiogram Database as a community-based resource

The Animal Audiogram Database is a community-based approach to further knowledge on audiograms, to share available data and to further understanding of noise effects on marine and terrestrial animals.

A community-based approach means, that users can actively contribute to the development of the website, the underlying metadata scheme or programmatic issues that need to be accounted for through our public GitHub Repository to

  • ask questions, report bugs, suggest data corrections or additions
  • provide feedback, share your ideas and pin new features for the website and database
  • download the code
  • review the database

We think of ourselves as part of this community-base approach and are interested in your input to make the Animal Audiogram Database a good example for collaborative efforts throughout the audiometric community. In addition to the public GitHub Repo you can contact us by email at audiograms@mfn.berlin.
